NX-6 Basic Arming and Disarming Instructions


Without any programming, the NX-6 will operate satisfactory in many applications, right out of the box. The default programming is as follows.

Arm Code (Leaving) 1 2 3 4
Arm Code ( Staying Inside) 1 2 3 4 “Stay”
Disarm Code 1 2 3 4

Exit Time 60 sec
Entry Time 30 sec
Siren Timeout 8 min

Audible Panic from Keypad

Zones are configured as follows (Default)

Zone 1 Entry/Exit
Zone 2 Interior (PIR)
Zone 3 Instant
Zone 4 Instant
Zone 5 Instant
Zone 6 Instant

To Arm the Alarm System

1. Close all protected doors and windows.
2. Ready light should be on and zone lights should be off on keypad. Power lightshould be on.
3. Enter 1 2 3 4. Armed and Exit lights go on and keypad beeps.
4. Exit through Entry/Exit Door (Zone 1)
5. If not leaviing immediately, the exit light will flash for the last 10 seconds of the exit delay and the keypad will beep rapidly.

To Disarm the Alarm System

1. Enter through Entry/Exit Door (Zone 1). Keypad will sound continuous tone.
2. Enter 1 2 3 4. Red armed light will go off and keypad tone will stop.
