Similar to the HD7078P but with higher gain and front-to-back ratio. The response of the antenna is more uniform from channel to channel. Used in areas that are just starting to lose visual line-of-site to Mount Wilson. This would be where there is one immediate obstruction blocking your path or when your no more than 1/2 mile north of Foothill Blvd. Boom lenght is 90".
In the Los Angeles area this is a good antenna to use when you have visual line-of-site to the transmitters on Mount Wilson, your home is not located behind a hill or in the case of the Inland Empire is south of Foothill Blvd. Boom lenght is 64.5".
By adding more elements which requires the boom of the antenna to be longer, the HD7082P has inproved performance compared to it's smaller brother, the HD7080P. Most noticeable improvement will be on the lower channels 2 thru 6. You can use this antenna as far north as Baseline Street. Boom lenght is 110.5" Further addition of more elements and a longer boom makes the HD7084P perform better and more uniformly than the HD7082P. The gain of the antenna is higher but the most noticeable improvement is the directivety and front-to-back performance is greatly improved which is very important when you do not have visual line-of-site to the TV transmitter. This antenna will work north to Highland Ave or the 210 in Upland, Alta Loma and Fontana. Boom lenght is 131".
This is the top of the combination Platinum HD line. The HD8200 has inproved performance over the HD7084P with slightly better forward gain and front-to-back. If you examine the detailed specification sheet, the response of this antenna over the TV channel range is more uniform than the other models. This comes with some expense, the boom lenght is 177.5 " (14.8 feet). This antenna is used north of the 210 in Upland, Alta Loma and Fontana.
A VHF only version. Shorter boom than the HD7084P with similar performance on the VHF channels only. Used when UHF is not desired or when a seperate UHF antenna is needed (To aim in another direction.) Boom lenght is 110".

For the FM broadcast enthusiast or if you just live in a bad area for FM reception. The best thing out there with an average gain of almost 10db across the entire FM band.. This antenna will bring 10 times the power to your FM radio than that folded dipole supplied with your radio. When you take in account the higher antenna placement and directionality, the improvement is immense.
